If you want your Sim to get good grades and graduate early, have them study for their weekly exams regularly.

To study for exams in The Sims 4, click on a computer, select More Choices and click on High School. Then, select Study for Exam.

Alternatively, you can also study for exams in one of the two study rooms from Copperdale High. Go there, click on the bookshelf, and select Study for Exam.

You can also attend Exam Prep Sessions if you want to. Attendance is not required but joining these prep sessions can help your Sim get better grades.

Sims who pass exams with flying colors, attend classes and do their homework every day will become straight-A students. If they also excel at an after-school activity, they can graduate early.

Why are my Sims refusing to study for exams?

If autonomy is on, your Sim may sometimes refuse to study for their exams, especially if they’re in a bad mood. They’ll ignore the task and do something else instead.

If your Sim spends too much time studying for exams, they’ll get the Tense buff.

Why?

Because academic success is not the major focus of the High School Years expansion pack.

Making new friends, joining challenges on social media, hanging out with friends, having fun, and transitioning into adulthood are more important than getting good grades.

You don’t need to study hard to pass your exams

You don’t need to study all day long to pass your high school exams in The Sims 4. If you do your homework every day, attend the morning and afternoon classes, and go to school in a positive mood, success is guaranteed.

For example, my Sim Jessica studied for exams only once during high school. Yet she managed to become a straight-A student and graduate early simply by following the strategy above.

Consistency is key for passing your weekly high school exams in The Sims 4.

I know this strategy works because I’ve tested it in my gameplay.

On the other hand, not doing your homework and skipping classes can get you expelled.

Happy gaming!

And remember: grades don’t define your Sim.
