Did you know that in The Sims 4, you can encounter ghost horses that add a touch of supernatural charm to your virtual stables? These spectral horses make the equestrian experience all the more fascinating and spooky fun!
Horses Die of Old Age in The Sims 4
Just like any other Sim character, horses in The Sims 4 can age and eventually pass away due to old age.
When they depart, they leave behind a tombstone as a memorial to their existence.
Though ghost horses may have crossed over to the spirit realm, their presence is a cherished memory for your Sims.
Their tombstones serve as a reminder of the wonderful times they shared with these spectral beings.
Keeping the Connection Alive
After midnight, ghost horses return to their tombstones. But fear not, that’s not the end of your bond with them! You can still interact with them.
To maintain a strong bond with your ghost horse even after their death, make sure to interact with them regularly.
Petting and riding them will help you keep your relationship strong even after your equine friends pass away.
You Can Ride Ghost Horses in The Sims 4
Believe it or not, you can ride these ghostly companions!
Despite their otherworldly nature, once mounted, ghost horses behave like regular horses and will follow your commands.
Ghost horses possess the ability to pass through walls and objects with ease, creating an eerie sight in your virtual stables.
However, they are unable to pass through walls once you mount them.
After all, they are spirits from beyond but your Sim is not.
Hauntingly Fun Adventures
Having ghost horses in your game opens up new and exciting opportunities.
You can take midnight rides under the moonlight to explore the supernatural side of The Sims 4.
Just watch out for those werewolves on the rampage!
Catch Sight of the Ghost of the Unknown Horse
Head to the top area of Chestnut Ridge and explore the map until you find the broken bridge.
Near the broken bridge, you’ll spot a tombstone featuring an engraving of a horse. That’s the gravestone of an Unknown Horse.
Stay in the area until nighttime, and you’ll catch sight of the ghostly apparition of a horse in the distance.
