There are three new magical plants in the pack, and each one plays a big role in crafting or gameplay. They all look unique and have effects beyond just harvesting. Here’s a breakdown of what they do.
Lightning Root
Lightning Root is used in a lot of Apothecary recipes, and you’ll need its leaves to craft them.
Be careful when harvesting it, though — it can electrocute your Sim, especially if they’re already Dazed. If your Sim is Dazed, wait until they recover before trying again to harvest the leaves.
You can also connect Lightning Root plants to your home’s power grid to help lower your electricity bills.
Moody Shrub
This plant is used to bottle emotion potions, which are needed for many recipes. It glows and gives off an emotional aura.
If you have emotion potions in your inventory, you can use the Moody Shrub to change their aura. You can make it confident, sad, or energized.
Aura Blossom
This plant gives you aura petals when harvested. It can also project different auras, like good luck, happy moodlets, or bad luck.
You’ll need fairy dust to change which aura it puts out.
