To catch Piranha in The Sims 4, you need to use bait. Catfish, Koi, and Rainbowfish are the best types of bait for Piranha. If you haven’t caught any of these, a medium fish will work just fine as bait for Piranha.
Additionally, your Sim needs to be Level 8 in the Fishing skill to be able to catch Piranha.
Where to catch Piranha in Sims 4
The best place to catch Piranha in The Sims 4 is the pool located at the back of the Oasis Springs park. The fishing spot is located all the way to the back of the lot, near the mine entrance. That’s the same spot where you can regularly find cowberries.
To increase your chances of catching Piranha, use Koi as bait.
At least, that’s what has always worked for me.
You can also catch Piranha in the Willow Creek pond and the Sylvan Glade pond. Try using Treefish as bait if you’re fishing at the Sylvan Glade pond. It seems that using Treefish as bait increase your chances of fishing Piranha in the area.
From my personal experience, you can catch Piranha a lot more frequently in the Oasis Springs park than in Willow Creek or Sylvan Glade.
After catching your first Piranha, mount it on a wall as a trophy. If you want to keep it alive, place it in an aquarium.
