How to Exorcise Ghosts in The Sims 4: For Rent

Sims-4-For-Rent-Exorcise-Ghost

Many of you Simmers who have the For Rent expansion pack may have already encountered a mysterious ghost haunting your rental unit, scaring tenants and landlords alike.

When the ghost shows up, you get a notification saying the unit is haunted. You can either ask the landlord to take care of the problem or confront the ghost yourself.

The main problem is that the ghost keeps possessing your stuff, and it’s annoying. You have to deal with it all day long, breaking your things for hours on end.

But when you try to confront the ghost, talking to it often does nothing. The landlord is of no help either. They’re too busy repairing broken things.

So, what else can you do to get rid of that annoying ghost? You need to exorcise it.

This Is How You Exorcize Ghosts in The Sims 4: For Rent

To exorcise ghosts in The Sims 4: For Rent, they have to possess an item first. During that event, click on the possessed item, and the option to exorcise the ghost will pop up.

Click on it, and you should be able to get rid of the ghost for good.

Keep in mind that exorcising a ghost costs 400 Simoleons. However, that’s a small fee to pay for peace of mind.

Where Do Those Ghosts Come From in The Sims 4: For Rent?

Ghosts are part of living in a cheap apartment in The Sims 4: For Rent.

If you own the place, it’s your job to oust the ghost from the apartment.

If you’re a tenant, invite the homeowner over, and they should find the ghost. They can try to send it to the other realm for good.

If that’s not possible, you need to exorcise it.

Enjoy the game!
