There is a total of seven Great Runes in Elden Ring, one for each Demi-God you kill. They’re part of the Elden Ring that The Greater Will forged as a symbol of creation. But what happens after you manage to collect the seven Great Runes?
What happens after I get all Great Runes in Elden Ring?
After getting all the Great Runes in Elden Ring, you have more choices of what Great Rune to use. Nothing extraordinary happens, you can’t fuse or combine the Great Runes. Use them during combat to provide your character with a temporary powerful buff.
How to get and activate all Great Runes
Godrick’s Great Rune
- Get it after defeating Godrick in Stormveil Castle
- You can activate this Rune in the Limgrave Divine Tower
- Gives you +5 to all attributes
Great Rune of The Unborn
- This is your reward for defeating Rennala, Queen of the Full Moon. You can find her in Liurnia, at the Raya Lucaria Academy.
- You cannot equip this Great Rune.
- There’s no need to reactivate it.
- Use it to respec and redistribute your attribute points, as long as you have a Larval Tear.

Radahn’s Great Rune
- This Great Rune is dropped by General Radahn in Caelid.
- You can activate it at the top of the Divine Tower.
- This Rune gives you a 15% HP boost to health, 12.5% Stamina boost, and 12.5% FP boost.
Morgott’s Great Rune
- You can get this Rune after defeating Morgott, the Omen King.
- Head to the Divine Tower of East Altus to activate it.
- This Rune boosts your health stat by 25%.
Rykard’s Great Rune
- Defeat Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy to get this Great Rune.
- Take it to the Divine Tower of West Altus and activate it at the top of the
- tower.
- This Rune restores health when you kill an enemy.
Mohg’s Great Rune
- This Rune is dropped by Mohg in the Mohgwyn Dynasty Mausoleum.
- You can activate it at the Divine Tower of East Altus.
- This Rune grants the Blessing of Blood buff to Summoned Spirits.
- When you’re invading another player’s world, the Mohg’s Great Rune gives you three copies of the Phantom Great Rune. Consume them to generate an area-of-effect that buffs bosses with the Blessing of Blood.
Malenia’s Great Rune
- This Rune is your reward for defeating Malenia, Blade of Miquella. You can find her at the Great Haligtree.
- Go to the Isolated Divine Tower, and activate the Rune on the roof of the Divine Tower.
- Use it to recover health lost following enemy attacks.
- However, keep in mind that Malenia’s Great Rune reduces the effect of the Flask of Crimson Tears.
