Elden Ring has six possible endings and all of them involve The Tarnished becoming Elden Lord. But what exactly does that mean? What happens after you become Elden Lord?
What happens after becoming Elden Lord?
After becoming Elden Lord, you need to take a major decision that determines which Elden Ring ending you get. Your decision will reshape The Lands Between. Becoming Elden Lord guides the world in a new direction changing everything in The Lands Between.
After killing Marika, everyone’s freed from the Erdtree. You can change the foundation of the world and start a new age. You’re destroying the current framework to build a new one.
How to unlock Elden Ring’s endings
- The Age of Fracture: You can mend the Elden Ring by following the critical path
- The Age of Stars: This ending sees you allying with Ranni and helping her become a god after defeating Rennala and completing Ranni’s questline
- The Age of Duskborn: Use the Mending Rune of the Death-Prince after following Fia’s and D’s questlines to trigger this ending
- The Age of Order: Use the Mending Rune of Perfect Order after following the quest of Brother Cohryn and Goldmask to get this ending
- The Blessing of Despair: Use the Mending Rune of the Fell Curse after following Dung Eater’s questline and feeding him Seedbed Curses instead of just killing him
- Lord of Frenzied Flame: This ending sees you embracing the Frenzied Flame of the Three Fingers and becoming the Lord of Frenzied Flame rather than the Elden Lord. Basically, this ending involves burning the Erdtree down after completing Irina and Edgar’s questline, and entering the Frenzied Flame door.
