If you need a few minutes to catch your breath in Elden Ring, go to a Site of Grace and rest there for a while. Think of Sites of Graces as checkpoints. You can restore your FP and HP, refill your Sacred Flasks or change your character’s appearance. The last Site of Grace you visited before getting killed is the place where you’ll respawn.

Most towns and settlements have multiple Sites of Grace, often near important landmarks or NPCs.
Major Landmarks
You’ll find Sites of Grace at major landmarks such as castles, forts, and important buildings.
Dungeons and Caves
Inside dungeons, caves, and underground areas, you’ll often discover Sites of Grace to help you navigate these spaces.
Boss Fight Arenas
Before and after boss fights, you’ll typically encounter Sites of Grace for convenience.
Outdoor Areas
Sites of Grace can be found in open outdoor areas, especially in regions with lots of enemies or challenging terrain.
Some Sites of Grace serve as fast travel hubs, allowing you to quickly move between different regions of the game.
