Elden Ring: Use this simple method to destroy Chariots

Elden-Ring-kill-Chariot

Chariots can be a pain in the neck in Elden Ring. The only way to progress through the game’s Fringefolk Hero’s Grave is to get rid of those annoying chariots rolling up and down the dungeon.

Can you kill the Chariot in Elden Ring?

You can kill the Chariot in Elden Ring from a distance with a bow and arrow. After the first turn, follow the path down until you reach the area where some pots are hanging from the ceiling. Shoot them down with a bow or crossbow by aiming for the ropes holding them up. Time your action right so that the pots drop down and crush the chariot in its tracks.

The Chariot drops an Erdtree Greatbow that scales with Faith, as well as some great arrows.

Steps to destroy the Chariot from Fringefolk Hero’s Grave

  1. While in the dungeon, use the niches in the walls to avoid getting hit by the chariot when it rolls.
  2. After the first turn, slide down the thin ramp to reach a platform located  near the imps.
  3. Keep on following the pathway down and get passed the fire-shooting statue.
  4. Take out the two Grafted Scions moving from the ceiling.
  5. Then drop down the platform under the bridge. Rest assured, that liquid is not poison.
  6. Keep on going until you reach the elevator and use it to go to the area that gives you visibility over the chariot.
  7. You should now see the pots hanging from the ceiling above the chariot.
  8. Aim for the rope holding the pots and time your shoot to ensure the pots fall on the chariot. Time it right and the chariot will straight explode.

There are three chariot dungeons in Elden Ring

There is a total of three chariot dungeons in the game. The one at the beginning (Fringefolk Hero’s Grave) has the pots hanging from the ceiling.

The second one, has basilisks in it. There are 3 chariots in the second dungeon. You need to hit one of the fire-spewing imp statues. That will raise a light beam statue to the level above you. Go back, and you’ll see a new area of light on the floor. That’s where another chariot will spawn. This chariot will blow itself up, as well as the rest of the chariots when they cross it.

The third chariot dungeon is the one with lava in it. You cannot destroy this chariot, you can only ride it.

And now you know.
