What does the Jellyfish Shield do in Elden Ring?
The Jellyfish Shield is a Greatshield that offers 100 percent physical damage protection. It scales primarily with Strength and Dexterity. Unlike other Greatshields in the game, the Jellyfish Shield is actually light, and doesn’t affect your character’s mobility and speed.
This shield works best at reducing damage and guarding, instead of parrying. The FP cost for this shield is low, and no farming is required.
However, ycannot infuse the Jellyfish Shield with Ashes of War. This is because the shield already has a unique skill.
Keep in mind that the Jellyfish Shield has a lower protection against non-physical damage than most Greatshields.
What does Contagious Fury do in Elden Ring?
Contagious Fury is a weapon skill for the Jellyfish Shield that provides a 20 percent attack damage increase for 30 seconds. It has a 9 FP cost.
However, if you handle the shield with both hands, the buff is automatically removed. You need to use it single-handedly to maintain the buff.
How to get the Jellyfish Shield
You can find the Jellyfish Shield at the foot of the Four Belfries Site of Grace. Rest up for a while at the Site of Grace, and then head north. You’ll find four red jellyfish near an overturned cart. Finish them off and grab the shield.
Now that FromSoftware have killed the Turtle Shield, we’re sure the popularity of the the Jellyfish Shield will go through the roof.
