Do FIFA Transfer Market bans carry over?

fifa-transfer-ban-carry-over

Many FIFA players that got a transfer market ban for a previous game release are wondering if the ban will carry over to the latest FIFA game.

Do FIFA bans carry over?

FIFA Transfer Market bans do not carry over, they’re only for the game it’s received on. For example, if you received a Transfer Market ban for FIFA 21,  that ban won’t carry over to FIFA 22. You’ll be able to access and use the Transfer Market on FIFA 22 without any problem.

However, you won’t be able to access the Transfer Market while on the trial version of the latest FIFA game. But you will be able to use it in-game. The Transfer Market option won’t work on the web-app. You need to unlock access to the web app by playing the game.

In other words, if you were previously banned from the Transfer Market, you need to earn access on the web/companion app again.

What if my account or device was banned?

If EA has banned your account or device, those will carry over to the latest FIFA game. For example, if you received an account or device ban for FIFA 21, you won’t be able to play FIFA 22 on the same account or device. This is because EA has permanently banned your account or device.

For more information on the type of ban you fall under, go to EA’s Support page.
