As your Sim continues to drink more glasses, a moodlet will show up indicating they’re getting happier and happier. If they continue drinking too much, the happy moodlet will get replaced with a new one indicating they’re feeling ill.
In The Sims 4, there is no specific moodlet for getting drunk. However, based on the fact that your Sim will get ill after drinking too much, it’s safe to say they can get a bit drunk. The only difference is that there is no specific moodlet to indicate that. And drinking too much does not affect interactions.
Interestingly enough, if your Sim goes to a bar or a place where there’s the option to have a drink, most of the times, they’ll grab a glass on their own. If there is alcohol around, your Sims will drink it but they won’t get drunk.
