How can my Sim get a bike in Sims 4: Discover University?
Here are the steps to follow to purchase a bike in The Sims 4 University:
- Go to the Quad areas
- Head to the kiosks
- Use the option Buy University items
- Scroll down and select Bicycle to purchase a bike.
Bikes cost 100 Simoleons in The Sims 4: Discover University making them one of the most affordable investments for your Sim, unlike laptops which cost 4,000 Simoleons.
Your Sim can now ride their new bike to go to different areas in the campus. A bike is an investment worth making as it makes getting around the campus much easier and quicker.
Since riding a bike is always fun, your Sim’s mood will also benefit from the purchase.
Riding the bike
There are 3 options available when it comes to riding a bike:
- Ride Bike
- Ride Bike Around
- Travel
Once you select any of these options, a random helmet will be placed on your Sim’s head.
Use the first two options to ride around the neighborhood. Use the Travel option to go to other lots.
By the way, Sims can also name their bikes.
Can teens and children ride a bike bought in Discover University?
Many gamers asked if teens and children could ride the bikes purchased in Discover University. The answer is No. The biked are way too tall for teenagers and kids to reach.
Moreover, that would also require new sets of animations which is not something the devs encourage.
How to get a bike after graduation
If you want to buy a bike after your Sim’s graduation, you can do that by going to the Build/Buy menu.

Can Sims ride bikes in other worlds?
Sims can ride their bikes off campus. This means that bikes can be ridden anywhere in Britechester, in the town neighborhood and so on. Sims can only ride their bikes in Britechester, they cannot ride them in any other world.
