The blue Plumbobs in Sims Mobile indicate those Sims belong to other players. Sims with blue diamonds are Sims that other people have created.
You can interact with them and add them to your Sim’s Contacts.
Simply tap on the player’s profile image and add them to your Game Friends list.
Many Sims Mobile players prefer to have relationships with NPC and avoid interacting with blue Plumbob Sims.
The players who own the blue Plumbob Sims that you interacted with may suddenly decide to change their appearance. This may lead to all sorts of annoying situations where you can’t even recognize your favorite Sims.
For example, the other player may decide to age up their Sims ad make them elders. But you can’t marry an elder.
What happens when you befriend a Sim with a blue Plumbob?
When you befriend a Sim with a blue Plumbob, you get access to additional interactions. You can ask them to move-in once you’ve got the relationship high enough.
The game will encourage them to become friends with you. The other Simmer will get a notification when you reach a new friendship level with their Sim.
You need specific permission from the other player if you want their Sim to move in.
Keep in mind that relationships in Sims Mobile are one-sided. Your fellow Simmers may not have the same relationship level or story as you after befriending their Sim.
