Valorant Patch 1.05 Reported Bugs: You Won’t Like This

Valorant Patch 1.05 bugs and glitches

Valorant just got a new major update that adds many interesting new features to the game. It seems Riot forgot to squash all the bugs before the release as many players are complaining about a long list of game issues after installing Valorant Patch 1.05.

Here’s a list of the most common Patch 1.05 bugs.

Valorant Update 1.05 Issues Players Complained About

  • There is only one specific friend online after gamers installed the update. Everyone else appears to be offline even though they are actually online. This prevents gamers from queueing up with their friends, the chat is not working, and they can’t exchange messages or accept invites.
  • The Riot game client randomly closes itself crashing Valorant and disconnecting players from the game.
  • Gamers get all sorts of connection errors that prevents them from joining Valorant. For potential solutions, see Valorant Timeout Errors | Use This Troubleshooting Guide and Valorant Error 43: What It Means & How To Fix It
  • The HUD Bottom Hud, Upper Left Map, Death Summary are invisible after Patch 1.05.
  • Players are completely immune to Phoenix and Breach’s flashes.
  • There are no weekly missions at all after the update. This is very frustrating since gamers can no longer complete these missions and gain valuable extra XP.
  • Certain graphics card models get 0 – 3% utilization which translates into a major FPS drop that makes Valorant unplayable. Examples of affected GPUs: RX580, 5700XT, RX480.
  • If Jett is your favorite Valorant agent, you should be aware that sometimes your knives may not replenish after a kill in the practice area.
  • Speaking of Agents, Sage heal cooldown starts at 35 seconds after the patch, instead of 45 seconds.
  • Many pipes on side of practice range are glitchy, have a non-solid geometry and look really confusing.
  • Sometimes, the microphone might switch on automatically irrespective of your settings when you change your keyboard language. Some users can’t use the microphone at all.

These are some of the most frequent issues that Valorant players experience after Patch 1.05.

Have you encountered other issues? Don’t forget to let Riot know about them so that they can fix them as soon as possible.
