Valorant Not Accepting Paypal | Why This Happens

valorant paypal payment not working

Valorant players can use real money to purchase skins and improve their Agents’ abilities. But many players who prefer using Paypal were unable to complete their purchases.

This issue was first spotted during Beta and it appears it randomly occurs in the final release version of the game as well.

Back then, Riot implemented the following workaround:

Just a heads up that the flow continues in a pop-up that opens in your default internet browser outside of the game. Transactions can be completed there and your currency in game will be updated accordingly. Cheers!

Describing PayPal payment issues in Valorant

When users enter their name and password, a security check page opens but it won’t let gamers go through. The whole payment process gets stuck or frozen on the security check page. The verify button can’t be triggered due to reCAPTCHA issues, and this problem is on Riot’s end, it’s not caused by PayPal.

Interestingly enough, other payment methods work. So, here’s your workaround. If you’re unable to use PayPal for purchasing Valorant in-game content, use an alternative payment method from the list of payment methods Riot accepts. Open your store in-client, and you’ll be able to see a list of all of the payment methods available to your region.

If you’ve got no other payment method available, submit a ticket to Riot support.
