valorant how to get to shooting range

If you’re new to Valorant or shooter games for that matter, entering the Shooting Range to get familiar with the game and practice your aim is a very good idea.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how you can go to the Shooting Range and we’ll also give you some suggestions on the best ways to polish your skills.

How do I get to Shooting Range in Valorant?

To enter the Shooting Range in Valorant, navigate to Custom Game and you should see the Practice button in the bottom left corner next to the Play button.

How to Get the Most Out of the Shooting Range

Even if you’re an experienced player, we recommend getting to the Shooting Range to get a grip on the game’s weapons and your current controls.

Speaking of controls, you may also want to check out this mouse sensitivity guide to get started.

Once you entered the Shooting Range, the game will automatically spawn 30 bots at certain intervals. This gives you the chance to practice flicking from one target to another.

Alternatively, you can also have the bots run around if you’re ready for a challenge. Simply hit F3 and they’ll start moving around widening the field in front of you.

For aim training, go for the headshot flicks. Don’t hurry, take your time to gradually build confidence in your aim as well as muscle memory. The more you practice, the better you’ll become.

Your muscles will learn how to adjust the movement needed to do a headshot depending on the context. Try to move the mouse horizontally only.

This will come in handy later on with crosshair placement and flick shot accuracy.

Use your shooting range experience to get familiar with how the weapons function. This is an excellent opportunity to learn what’s your favorite weapon.

You can also test the recoil and adjust your game settings for the best possible weapon control.

⇒ Quick Reminder:

Going through training allows you to improve your skills, build better muscle memory, and have more confidence in your skills and decision-making abilities.
