Just as in real life, not all the Sims afford to go to college. But if your Sim really wants to go to university, they can always get a loan.
This will allow them to enroll in university and get the money to pay for their education.
Keep in mind that your Sim needs to pay for each university term. The price depends on a variety of factors, such as the field your Sim is specializing in and the classes they’re taking.
This is how you can pay back your loan in Discover University
Option 1 – Get a scholarship
If your Sim is granted a scholarship, they’ll be able to pay less for attending university. The amount of the scholarship will be applied to the overall amount you owe for the respective term.
As a result, you’ll pay a lower university fee.
Option 2 – Use your household funds
You can pay the university fees using your household funds. However, being a student, this may result in tricky situations where you don’t have enough money to cover the fees.

Option 3 – Take a loan
You can also take a loan to pay for the college fees. Just as in real life, the loan comes with interest attached to it.
It’s always best to pay off the loan as quickly as possible so as to avoid paying high-interest rates.

- Go to your mailbox
- Select Pay Back Loan
Once that option is selected, your Sim will be debt-free in regard to the university fees. Being able to pay back the student loan will be a great relief for your Sim.
