Warpers are really amazing creatures that have the ability to create teleportation gates. They can use the gate to warp themselves out, as well as other life forms of similar sizes. But where do they go when they teleport?
Where do Warpers go when they teleport?
If the Warper is just patrolling, when it reaches the end of the patrol area, it teleports back to its respawn point. It doesn’t leave the game, it just returns to the respawn spot to where it starts patrolling the area all over again.
However, if the Warper is dealt enough damage to kill it, it will despawn to an inaccessible game location. You can’t go after it.
Sometimes, a few minutes may pass from the moment the Warper teleports until they go back to their spawn point. They teleport outside of the game map, behind geometry but they return to the respawn spot after a few minutes.
On the other hand, if the Warper has noticed you, it will either attack you if you’re heavily contaminated, or merely observe you if the contamination level is not high enough.
When attacking, it fires a teleportation orb at you. Try to dodge the orbs and avoid being warped. The Warper can use its claws to attack you, and the amount of damage it deals depends on your infection stage.

If you’re hit by the teleportation orb that Warpers throw at you, you’ll be teleported away from your vehicle into nearby waters. You won’t be teleported too far away, after 10 to 20 seconds of swim time, you should be able to get back to your vehicle. Nevertheless, being warped out of nowhere can be pretty disorientating sometimes.
As soon as you’re outside your vehicle, you become extremely vulnerable to attacks. Keep in mind the teleportation orb affects only Seamoths or Prawn Suits.
Can Warpers teleport you out of the Cyclops?
Warpers cannot teleport you out of the Cyclops. This is because Warpers do not recognize the Cyclops as a threat and will simply ignore the vehicle. So, one way to avoid getting teleported is to use the Cyclops.
Can Warpers teleport me in Creative?
Warpers cannot teleport you in Creative Mode. You are invisible to all hostile creatures in Creative Mode, and you can’t die.
