If your Sim’s queue keeps getting canceled, this usually indicates something’s in the way and they can’t do what you asked them to. Negative emotions such as Anger or Fear can prevent Sims from completing the actions you lined up in their action queue.
If your Sim is not in a good mood, they’ll autonomously cancel queued actions.
Unexpected technical glitches can also cause Sims to cancel their action queue.
What to do if Sims keep canceling their action queue
Make your Sims happy
Make your Sim happy, line up two or three actions in their action queue and check if they still cancel them.
The quickest way to make your Sim happy is through cheat codes. Press Ctrl, Shift, and C to open the Cheat Console, type in testingcheats true and press Enter to enable cheat codes.
Then, press the Shift key, click on your Sim, select Cheat Needs, and click on Make Happy.
Disable Autonomy
Navigate to Game Options, select Gameplay, and disable Autonomy. This new setting will disable free will.
In other words, your Sim won’t do anything unless you instruct them to.
Check if something’s blocking the action
Remove any objects from your Sim’s path that could be preventing them from completing the action you added in their action queue.
Get rid of clutter and unnecessary items that could be blocking their way.
Reset your Sim
If the issue persists, try resetting your Sim. To do that, enable the Cheat Console, type resetSim Firstname Lastname (the full name of the Sim you want to reset), and hit Enter.
For example, if you want to reset Adam Jackson, type: resetSim Adam Jackson, and press Enter.
Remove mods
Did you know that outdated mods can break certain game functionalities? Make sure to update all of your mods to the latest version.
If the issue persists, move your Mods Folder to your desktop. Restart The Sims 4 and check if your Sim keeps on canceling their action queue.
If the problem is gone, this indicates one of your mods is the culprit. Move your mods back to the main folder one by one and test each time to identify the culprit.
Repair your game
Corrupted or missing game files can break your games. Go to your Origin Library, right-click on The Sims 4, and select Repair Game.
Wait until the app scans and repairs your game files and launch The Sims 4 again.
Hope something helps.
