This can sometimes be a major issue. Workplace rivals can block your Sim’s promotion. They’re always getting in the way and ruining your Sim’s career plans.

How do you deal with rivalry in the workplace in The Sims 4?
There are three main ways to deal with a workplace rival in The Sims 4:
- Try to resolve the conflict
- Join their game and sabotage them
- Take them out of the game
How to resolve workplace conflicts
When you are at home, there are a couple of options that you can use to do some positive interactions with your workplace rival in an attempt to resolve the conflict.
You can invite your workplace rival over to your house. You can interact with them and try to resolve the existing conflict outside the workplace.
Use Friendly and Funny interactions to level up your Friendship bar with them.
Once your workplace rival becomes your friend, they’re less likely to do nasty and mean things to you.
You can also try to use Romance interactions with them. Get them to fall in love with you and then break their heart.
How to sabotage workplace rivals
If you like conflicts, you can fuel existing workplace conflicts and rivalries.
When you are at work, you’ll have the option to sabotage your workplace rivals. The catch is you can’t use this interaction multiple times in a row.
For example, you can place a skeleton in their office drawer. They’ll get so scared when they open the drawer they’ll jump two feet in the air.
That’s like saying you’ve joined their game and are ready to go all in.
Take your workplace rivals out
Alternatively, you can just take your rival out of the game. If they’re no longer on the same plane of existence, you can finally get your promotion.
Right?
There are tens of ways that a Sim can meet their maker. Just choose a quick and swift one and your workplace rival will be gone for good.
That’s not the nicest way to deal with workplace rivals but you can be sure they’ll never bother you again.
