Trendi is a fashion marketplace in The Sims 4 where you can create new outfits based on the things you find in the thrift store from Copperdale. You can then use your social media account to hype your outfits up and sell them to make a profit.
How do I use Trendi in Sims 4?
To use Trendi, click on the Phone icon and select the Trendi app. There are five Trendi interactions available in The Sims 4:
- Browse Trends
- Check Followers
- Check the Latest Trends
- List a Look
- Promote Current Look
How do I create a new Fashion Look in Sims 4?
Use the following steps to create new Fashion Looks or outfits in The Sims 4:
- Go to the ThriftTea thrift shop
- Check out the clothes available in the store
- Select Create a Fashion Look
- Create new outfits based on the clothing options available in the thrift shop
- Once you’re happy with your Fashion Look, give it a name and hype it up on social media
How to find the best clothing options at the ThriftTea store
Some of the clothes available in the thrift shop have been designed in collaboration with Depop. Typically, these clothing options are only available in the thrift shop. They’re locked in CAS.
The clothing options available at the ThriftTea store change on a daily basis. You may want to return to the thrift shop if you don’t like what’s currently available for sale.

How to make your outfits popular on Trendi
The Fashion Looks that you create are available in your Sim’s inventory. You can also wear your outfits and take selfies to hype them up.
Click on your inventory, and select the outfit you make popular on Trendi. Click on the phone, select the Trendi app, take a selfie and select click on Promote Current Look.
The result depends on how influential your Sim is. You can also check out what’s trending first and then try to create similar fashion looks.
If you’re successful on Trendi, you may see townies wearing your outfits. That’s how much you can influence the town of Copperdale.
Check what’s trending on Trendi
Click on the Phone, select the Trendi app, and click on Check Latest Trends. Trendi Analytics will instantly tell you what’s popular. Use that information to design your outfits.
Designing Fashion Looks that are similar to popular outfits increases your chances of coming up with some really popular designs. Rinse and repeat and your Sim will become a trendsetter in no time.
How to sell your outfits on Trendi
To sell your outfits, click on the Phone app and select Sell Outfit on Trendi. Set the price you want to sell the outfit for. Trendi will also give you an estimate of how much similar fits are selling for.
You can use that information when setting the prices for your outfits. If the price tag is too high, you may have a hard time finding buyers for your outfits.
Don’t be surprised if you see townies wearing your outfits. Sometimes, you may even see the Copperdale High Principal wearing your teen outfits.
Buy stuff from Trendi
You can also browse Trendi to check what others are selling. Click on the phone, and select Browse Trends.
You can also buy the outfits you like. When you get bored of them, you can go back to Trendi and sell them back.
Sell your outfits for more than you bought them for and you’ll make a nice profit.
