The Sims 4: How to repair burnt furniture

The-Sims-4-repair-burnt-furniture

Sims that go dumpster diving may sometimes find old furniture such as armchairs, dining chairs, sofas, end tables, coffee tables, you name it.

The bad news is that dumpster furniture is broken or burnt. Otherwise, it would not have ended up in the dumpster in the first place.

Let’s see what you can do to repair burnt furniture.

How to fix burnt furniture in The Sims 4

You can use the Smog Vacuum to repair burnt furniture in The Sims 4. To unlock this machine, you need to pursue a Civil Designer career.

Draft and Submit blueprints until you unlock the fabrication recipe for the Smog Vacuum. Then, you can craft it on the Fabricator.

Spellcasters can use the Repario or Scruberoo spells to fix broken items, including burnt furniture.

You can learn the Repario spell from the Sage Simeon. You can then use it to repair any blackened or unusable pieces of furniture from the dumpster. And it’s totally free.

Many Simmers noticed that placing burnt furniture on your lot or in the neighborhood can change the eco-footprint of the entire area.

Burnt furniture can quickly downgrade your eco-footprint to industrial.

You can recycle damaged furniture

Unlocking the fabrication recipe for the Smog Vacuum can take an awful lot of time. If you don’t own Realm of Magic, you won’t be able to create a Spellcaster and use the Repario spell.

So, what’s the alternative?

Well, you can simply recycle broken and burnt furniture and get Bits and Pieces that you can then use to craft new pieces of furniture.

You can also purchase dyes and craft colorful furniture to redesign your house.

Happy Simming!
