To practice action scenes with another Sim in The Sims 4, your Sim must reach Level 6 of the Acting skill. The other Sim doesn’t need any Acting skill for the interaction to work.
This interaction is especially important for Sims pursuing the acting career, as it’s required to complete the Sitcom Star promotion task.
If you don’t see the Practice Action Scene interaction, your Sim’s Acting skill is still too low. It unlocks automatically once they reach Level 6.
Once your Sim reaches Level 6 of the Acting skill, they also unlock the Act Not Bored interaction. This lets them save themselves from a boring conversation by adding a little dramatic flair.
Your Sim will unlock additional acting scenes as their Acting skill increases. The fastest way to level up is by practicing in front of a mirror or using a microphone.
If you have one, the Trouper’s Looking Glass is an excellent choice because it helps Sims build the Acting skill more quickly.
Your Sim can also improve by reading Acting skill books, although actively practicing scenes generally provides faster progress.
For the best results, have your Sim practice while they’re Confident. This emotional state improves their acting performances and helps them succeed in their acting career.
Your Sim needs to have a high enough acting skill level to unlock specific scenes. For example, they need to reach Level 10 of the Acting skill to perform dramatic scenes.
Sims with a high Acting skill level will cash in more money for their gigs compared to low-level actors. After completing all of their scenes, they can bring home thousands of Simoleons per gig.
