How to place multiple elevators in The Sims 4

Sims-4-place-multiple-elevators

You can normally place only one elevator per lot in The Sims 4.

But what if you want to place more than one elevator?

Well, you’ll get an error that says “Only one elevator allowed“.

The good news is you can work your way around this limitation.

How can I place multiple elevators in The Sims 4?

Build an elevator room

To add multiple elevators in The Sims 4, enter Build Mode, place an elevator on your lot, and surround it with a wall.

Basically, you’re making a separate room around the elevator. We’ll call this the elevator room.

Then, you’re going to copy the elevator room and paste it onto the upper floors as many times as you need.

Paste the elevator room on each floor.

If you try to place a stand-alone elevator on the upper floors, the game will tell you that only one elevator is allowed per lot.

The elevator room allows you to bypass this limitation.

When you try to enter Live mode and play your Sim, you’ll get an error saying you can’t exit the lot because you have too many elevators.

To solve the problem, go to Manage Worlds, and select Just Go to Manage Worlds. Then, select the world and the building where your Sim is.

Your elevators should be functional now.

Thanks, Jason Sterling for coming up with this amazing idea.

Download the Working Elevators Everywhere mod

Alternatively, if you have City Living and Jungle Adventure, you can download Working Elevators Everywhere by LittleMsSam.

With the help of this mod, you can have the elevators work on multiple levels. But there’s a catch: you need to line all of them up.

There you go, I hope you managed to add multiple elevators with the help of this quick guide.

Happy Simming!
