If your Sim is interested in pursuing an acting career or joining a drama club, they’ll need to perform a dramatic scene with another Sim to level up their acting skill. Alternatively, they can also perform a dramatic monologue.
Follow the steps below to complete this milestone.
How to perform a dramatic scene or monologue in Sims 4
To perform dramatic scenes and monologues, your Sim needs to reach Level 10 of the Acting skill. If their acting skill is not high enough, you can’t unlock dramatic interactions. Keep on practicing acting in front of a mirror or microphone until the option to perform a dramatic scene or monologue shows up.
Then, simply click on your Sims and select the option to perform a dramatic scene or monologue and let your Sim show off their acting skill.
Sims with low-level acting skills cannot perform dramatic scenes and monologues. They can’t convince other Sims to practice dramatic scenes with them either.
You need to level up your Sim’s acting abilities to be able to perform dramatic scenes by themselves or with other Sims.
How to level up your Sim’s acting skill
You can level up your Sim’s acting skill by getting them in a Confident mood. Have them brush their teeth before practicing acting to get the Confident buff instantly. Then, keep on practicing in front of a mirror or microphone. You can also read skill books on acting to speed up the skill gain process.
After reaching Level 4, your Sim can unlock and use Trouper’s Look Glass which is a special mirror they can use to improve their acting abilities faster.
At Level 6, they can practice action scenes.
At Level 10, your Sim has mastered the Acting Skill. They’ve become an accomplished actor and can now perform all kinds of scenes, including dramatic scenes.
Cheat your Sim up in the acting career
If you want to quickly unlock the option to perform a dramatic scene or monologue in the Sims 4, open the Cheat Console, and enter the stats.set_skill_level major_acting 10 command.
This command will instantly bring your Sim to Level 10 of the Acting skill unlocking the dramatic scene and monologue interactions.
And now you know.
