The Sims 4 High School Years expansion pack introduced three new traits to the game: Socially Awkward, Overachiever, and Party Animal.

Let’s talk about the Party Animal trait and how it influences your Sim’s behavior.

The Party Animal trait in Sims 4

If you’re playing the scenario where school doesn’t play an important role in your Sim’s life, feel free to select the Party Animal trait.

Sims that have the Party Animal trait love going to parties and having a great time in the company of other Sims. They enjoy hyping up a crowd and performing all sorts of party tricks.

Instead of studying hard for their exams, they prefer going out. They feel in their element when they’re in the spotlight.

These Sims are all about going out as often as possible and having a great time.

They love going to proms and showing off their dance moves on the dance floor.

Your Sim can attend multiple prom events in The Sims 4. Every prom is a new opportunity to have some fun and dance until you drop.

As a downside, Sims with this trait will get Tense if they attend parties once in a blue moon.

If it’s been too long since the last party, the new Wants and Fears system will alert you about that.

How to find cool outfits for parties

Having a cool and trendy image plays an important role in the life of a Sim that has the Party Animal trait. But finding cool party outfits doesn’t have to break the bank.

Have your Sim visit the ThriftTea thrift shop. They’ll definitely find lots of interesting party outfits there.

By the way, you can also use Trendi to create some hype around your outfits.

Are you planning to use the Party Animal trait? Or do you prefer to focus on getting good grades? Let me know in the comments below.
