The Sims 4: Paranormal Stuff is an addictive and sometimes downright scary expansion pack. If you’ve dreamt about living in a haunted house, take advantage of the new Haunted House Residential lot trait. You can use it to invite ghosts into your house. Cool, isn’t?
Where are the haunted houses located in Sims 4 Paranormal?
Haunted houses don’t have a specific location in Sims 4 Paranormal Stuff. This is because any house can be a haunted house. The Haunted House Residential lot trait can turn any house into a haunted house.
To enable the Haunted House Residential lot trait, enter build mode and simply edit the lot type settings to Haunted House Residential. That’s it. Spooks will now invade your house and back yard. Enjoy the fun!
⇒ Note: Be sure to enable the Haunted House lot type, not the Spooky lot trait. If you enable the latter, ghosts will simply be encouraged to hang around your house but they won’t necessarily live in it.
Good to Know
You can enable this trait on community lots as well. Once the Haunted House trait enabled, the community lot will lose its initial features and characteristics. This means townies will no longer visit the regular places they used to visit, such as the parks, bars or gyms.
Guidry, a friendly ghost will be your guide in the paranormal realm. He’ll provide you with crucial information to help you understand how things work in the realm of the spectres.
Every night, various spectres will pay you a visit. However, keep in mind that not all of them are friendly. Some of them are angry and hostile. Their color is a telltale sign of their intensions. Stay away from red spectres.
You need to make sure everything is in perfect harmony. You need to ensure things are balanced and the two realms coexist peacefully. An intense paranormal activity level will make your Sims tired, scared or too terrified to do anything.
Get more reward store points. Surviving another night in a haunted house is not easy. That’s why your Sims gets 125 reward store points for every night they endure in the house. If you want to earn more points, all you need to do is ramp up the activity level to heroic and you’ll get 250 points a night.
