What is considered “loud noise” in The Sims 4 City Living?
Any action taking place between 11 PM and 6 AM is considered loud noise in The Sims 4 City Living. Just walking around in your apartment after 11 PM will cause neighbors to come over and complain about the noise.
For example, if your Sim wakes up at 5:30 to use the toilet or take a shower, someone will instantly be pounding on the door.
The following actions count as loud noise in apartments:
- Playing a musical instrument late at night
- Practicing singing
- Watching TV
- Playing the stereo loud
- Cooking
- Woohooing
- Working out
- Walking on tiles or hardwood floors in high heels
- Babies crying in the middle of the night
If your Sim’s dog barks in the middle of the night, your neighbors will instantly hammer at your door complaining about the noise.
If you don’t open the door when they come complaining, they’ll say they won’t forget it and will go back to their apartments.
If you ignore them completely, they’ll get really angry. Additionally, your relationship bar with decrease or even go in the red.
As a result, your neighbors are more likely to make noise to get their revenge on you and won’t apologize when you complain.
