Social interactions allow Sims to socialize with other Sims, build relationships, behave in a certain way toward other Sims, and so on.
But sometimes, a lot of social interactions might be missing. This problem often affects romantic interactions. As a result, your Sims won’t do romantic interactions.
What causes social interactions to disappear in Sims 4? The most frequent cause of missing social interactions in Sims 4 is outdated or incompatible mods. Once you update your mods, all the game’s social interactions should be available again.
No Social Interactions in The Sims 4
Check your mods and update them
Since this problem is often caused by mods, the first step you should take is to identify which of your mods or CC is the root cause of this problem.
To do this, move your Mods folder to your desktop. The idea is to drag this folder out of your Sims 4 general folder.
Then, delete the localthumbcache.package, and check if all of the social interactions are fully functional.
If your social interactions are back, this clearly indicates that your mods are the culprit. Go ahead and test them by bringing them one by one back to your Sims 4 folder.
Keep in mind that you need to delete the localthumbcache.package each time you quit the game to add a new mod to the folder.
Once the culprit is identified, make sure to update the problematic mod as soon as possible.

- USEFUL TIP: There’s an interesting mod called Mod Conflict Detector that tells you if any mods are broken. Well, the mod hasn’t been updated since 2008 but it still works and could save the day.
2. Repair your game
Now that the mod problem is solved, I also recommend repairing your game. This is a simple process that allows you to fix broken, missing, or corrupted game files.
To repair Sims 4, right-click on the game in your Origin game library and select Repair. Wait until Origin fixes the base game and all the packs.
