You know what they say: “If you’ve got it, flaunt it!”
There’s an interesting option in The Sims 4: Get Famous that allows you to show off your Sim’s wealth. Click on Make It Pour under Flaunt Wealth, and your Sim will make it rain money.
Unfortunately, this option is sometimes grayed out and Simmers can’t use it. Let’s explore what you can do to unlock this interaction.
Why “Make It Pour” is greyed out in Sims 4
If the “Make It Pour ($10,000)” option is greyed out, and you’re told more household funds are needed, this indicates you don’t have enough money to use this interaction. Your Sim needs to have 1M Simoleons in their Household Funds to trigger the “Make It Pour ($10,000)” interaction.
The money hidden away in your vault doesn’t count as household funds.
For example, if you have 900,000 Simoleons in your household funds and 500,000 in your vault, you won’t be able to trigger this interaction.
You need 1M in your household funds to throw away $10,000.
Your Sim can either work hard to earn that money or you can use cheats to get it.
Once you make it pour, that money will instantly disappear from your Sim’s wallet.
By the way, you need 100,00 Simoleons to make it rain, and 10,000 to make it trickle.

The “Make it pour” interaction is really fun to watch. While your Sim may look goofy when they’re throwing away money, they seem to take great satisfaction in the action.
