You can celebrate high school graduation with an epic prom. The prom party is held at the Copperdale Auditorium. How your Sim prepares for and participates in prom will impact their future relationships.
In The Sims 4 High School Years, the Prom event takes place every Saturday at 7 PM. This means your Sims can party and have fun each weekend once school is finished.

Ask someone to be your prom date in The Sims 4
You can leave a note in someone’s locker asking them to come to the prom with you.
You can also create a promposal sign and present it to the Sim you want to be your prom date.
Accepting a Promposal generates a Deeply Connected sentiment
You may gain the Deeply Connected sentiment after a Sim accepts to be your prom date.
This is a close sentiment that indicates your Sim has a powerful bond with another Sim. That close relationship is a source of strength and comfort for your Sim.
NPCs can ask your Sim to prom
NPCs can now ask your Sim out. They can also ask you to go to the prom with them.
If an NPC really likes you, they’ll autonomously choose to spend more time around you.
This adds more drama and nuances to social interactions among teenagers.
Go solo or with friends
If your Sim wishes to go solo to the prom, they can do that. You don’t have to have a prom date or partner to go to the prom. Everybody is welcome.
You know what they say: The More, The Merrier. You can also choose to go with your friends and have fun together.
You can also have friends over to get ready for prom together.
Get ready for prom night
Make sure to choose the perfect prom outfit and hairstyle for you Sim. The prom night is a major event in your teenage Sim’s life. It officially marks their transition to adulthood.
Put on your best clothes and shine bright on the dance floor.
There are plenty of fancy prom clothes that you can choose from, including long dresses and shiny tuxedos.
By the way, you can also plan out your prom dance routine and steal the spotlight on the dance floor.

Enjoy the prom party and take it to the dance floor. Let your Sim show off their moves and dance the night away.
The prom night is definitely the most nerve-wracking yet exciting night of a teen Sims’ high school years. They’ll remember it for the rest of their life.
