There are four after-school activities that you teenage Sims can join in Sims 4 High School Years: Cheerleading, Football, Chess, and Computer Science.
Each activity helps you unlock valuable skills that will come in handy once your Sim has aged up into adulthood.
If your Sim is a geek, joining the Computer club is a must. This after-school activity will help them level up their programming skill and study Computer Science at university.
How to join the Computer Club in Sims 4
To join the Computer Team, click on the Phone, select Find a Job, and then select the Computer club option. This is an unpaid career track that’s available only to teens.
The fastest way to raise through the ranks of the Computer Club is by practicing programming on a computer every single day.
You can also request a Science Fair where you can join the Game Jam competition and show off your programming abilities.
Click on the Phone icon and select Request Science Fair. If your request for a Computer Science Fair gets accepted, you can attend the event the next day.
Click on one of the tablets available at the Fair and select Make Game Jam Entry. Don’t forget to submit your results to the judge before the fair is over.
If you manage to become the captain of the Computer team, you can earn a golden laptop, a team flag, and a trophy.
Computer Team Member career levels
There are three levels to the Computer Team career track:
- Computer Team Fresh Recruit
- Computer Programming Teammate
- Captain of the Computer Team
As a Computer Team Fresh Recruit, you need to do a lot of coding. You need to reach Level 2 of the Programming skill, and practice programming every day to go to the next level.
As a Computer Programming Teammate, you need to reach Level 4 of the Programming skill and practice programming every day.
To level up your Programming skill faster, make sure your Sim is in a good mood when practicing programming.
After becoming the Captain of the Computer Team, you need to keep practicing programming every day to sharpen your skills.
You’ll also earn a golden laptop, the Computer Programming Trophy, as well as the Hacker Trait.
