To get more columns in CAS in The Sims 4, install the More Columns mod by Weerbesu. You can add 3, 4, or 5 columns with the help of this mod. In this manner, you can view more items and navigate easier through the CAS customization options.
That’s a big change from the standard tw0 column CAS UI in the base game.
The More Columns mod is very stable and reliable. Weerbesu updates it soon after EA releases a new Sims 4 game version.
How to add more CAS columns in The Sims 4
To add more CAS columns using the More Columns mod, you need to change your game resolution. Navigate to Game Options and use one of the following resolutions, depending on how many CAS columns you want to have:
- Set the resolution to 1920 x1080 to display 5 CAS columns
- Use a 1600 x 900 resolution to get 4 CAS columns
- Set the resolution to 1280 x 720 to display 3 CAS columns
As Weerbesu explains, if your game’s resolution is too low, you won’t have enough space to display additional columns.
If you have Cats & Dogs, you need to use an ever higher resolution that is recommended display additional columns in Create A Pet.
If you recently updated The Sims 4 to the latest version, and you notice More Columns is not working as expected, check if there’s a new mod version available and install it on your computer.
Then, refresh your Mods folder and repair your game files.
