Graduation is not guaranteed in The Sims High School Years. While straight-A students often have the opportunity to graduate early, troublemakers are not that lucky. They may get kicked out of school.
If that’s the scenario you want to play, here’s how you can quickly get your Sim expelled from high school.
How can my Sim get expelled from high school?
Your Sim can get expelled from high school for not attending classes, refusing to do their homework, and being a troublemaker. If your Sim skips classes and gets caught while pulling pranks, they’ll end up on the Principal’s blacklist and serve detention.
If this behavior continues, your Sim will get expelled from high school.
As a result, they won’t be able to go to university and will be locked out of certain careers.
Sims that get expelled will also get the Expelled buff. This will make them sad for a few hours.
My Sim keeps getting expelled from high school
There’s also an annoying situation where Sims get expelled from high school after serving detention or attending the career fair. Even if your Sim passes their weekly exams with flying colors, they still get expelled out of the blue.
At the end of the day, they’ll get a notification saying they did well in exams. Shortly after, another notification pops up saying your Sim was expelled. This can be really confusing.
This happens because of a bug. You can install The Sims 4: Don’t get expelled mod to get rid of this annoying glitch.
If you look in Careers, you’ll find the option to go back to school. If you select it, your Sim will return to school only to get expelled the next day.
Some Simmers suggested you can have your expelled Sim rejoin through the Careers option and send them to school alone. It seems that using the good old rabbit hole school method won’t get your Sim expelled again.
However, this method may not work for all of you.
