The Forbidden Sweater is a special sweater that you can unlock after maxing out your Sim’s Knitting skill and completing the Lord/Lady of the Knits aspiration. You can use it to break the Sweater Curse and mend your relationship with your significant other.
Wearing the Forbidden Sweater will give your Sim the Uncomfortable +1 moodlet.
The Forbidden Sweater is an asymmetrical piece of clothing. The sleeves are too long, and the left and right front of the sweater are different lengths. The sweater comes with a very long scarf that’s wrapped up over your Sim’s mouth. It also comes with a beanie with colorful puff balls.
You need the Nifty Knitting stuff pack to unlock the Forbidden Sweater.
After completing the Lord/Lady of the Knits aspiration, your Sim will earn the Sacred Knitting Knowledge trait.
This trait makes Sims immune to the Sweater Curse and allows them to craft unique knitted items, such as The Forbidden Sweater.
Can I use cheats to unlock The Forbidden Sweater?
You can use the traits.equip_trait trait_SacredKnittingKnowledge cheat code to instantly unlock The Forbidden Sweater in The Sims 4.
Press Ctrl, Shift, and C to open the Cheat Console and type in testingcheats true. Then, type in the traits.equip_trait trait_SacredKnittingKnowledge cheat and press Enter.
You can also use the stats.set_skill_level AdultMajor_Knitting 10 cheat to max out your Sim’s knitting skill without spending a single hour knitting.
