How to Increase the Max Rent Unit Cap
To boost the max unit cap for rent in The Sims 4 For Rent, use the bb.increaserentalunitcap on cheat.
Use this cheat after building your 6th rental unit.
As a quick reminder, you can rock up to 99 units per save file.
Just a heads up, though: as mentioned by the devs in the official gameplay stream on December 1st, things might get glitchy with so many units and Sims.
On a side note, glitches are already in the mix, even without cheats in play.
I would hold off for a few days before pushing beyond the 6-unit mark.
Unlock Sims 4: For Rent Traits Using Cheats
There are five new personality traits in The Sims: For Rent.
- Child of the Village: traits.equip_trait Child of the Village
- Cringe: traits.equip_trait Cringe
- Generous: traits.equip_trait Generous
- Nosy: traits.equip_trait Nosy
- Wise: traits.equip_trait Wise
Keep in mind that the Wise trait is only available for elderly Sims. You know what they say, with age comes wisdom.
Unlock Sims 4: For Rent Aspirations Using Cheats
For Rent features four new aspirations:
- Five-Star Property Owner
- Fount of Tomarani Knowledge
- Discerning Dweller
- Seeker of Secrets
Each of these aspirations lets you unlock a special reward trait.
To instantly complete an aspiration in The Sims 4 For Rent, use the aspirations.complete_current_milestone cheat.
