Have you ever wondered what the “Flavorize” option does in The Sims 4? This option comes up when you click on a stove but its purpose and effects may not be immediately clear.
Whether you are a seasoned player or a newcomer to the game, this article will help you to better understand and utilize this cool feature.
What does Flavorize mean in The Sims 4?
The “Flavorize” option lets you add more flavor to dishes and increase the quality of the next meal you cook on the flavorized stove. You can use it after reaching Level 8 of the Cooking or Gourmet Cooking skill.
The Flavorize option costs 10 Simoleons to use and it’s only a temporary perk. It only lasts for one stovetop meal.
However, this option is pretty much pointless if your Sim’s cooking, or gourmet cooking skill is already maxed out.
The same is valid if your cooking or gourmet cooking skill is already over Level 5 and you have the Chef’s Kitchen lot trait.
As you can see, there’s no point in spending 10 Simoleons to improve meal quality if your Sims are already cooking excellent meals.
Your Sims will probably already be cooking Excellent-quality meals by the time the Flavorize option becomes available.
But if you want to take things to the next level and cook Impeccable-quality meals, go for it.
A flavorized stove makes cooking Impeccable Quality food a little more likely. That’s not always guaranteed to happen but you can up the odds a bit.
