Fairies come with a complex ability tree that gives you loads of ways to shape your gameplay.
There are five levels total, and the tree branches out into four different paths:
- Emotional – Tied to how fairies use and control emotions
- Nature – More about gardening, plants, and harmony
- Manipulation – For causing a little chaos (or a lot)
- Customization – Let’s you lean into being good or mysterious, with unique interactions based on the path you pick
How Does the Fairy Skill Tree Work?
The Emotional Path
You can use your fairy powers to sway another Sim’s emotions, change their friendships or romances, and even influence how they feel about other Sims.
It’s a fun feature to play with. The relationship effects are small at first, but if used often, they can add up over time.
The Nature Path
The Nature Path focuses on plants and growing skills.
At first, you can nurture and enchant plants. As you level up, you can duplicate plants in your inventory and manifest rare seeds.
Eventually, you unlock the power to transform another Sim into a fairy, just like Mother Nature.
The Manipulation Path
The manipulation path lets you cure or give ailments to other Sims. You can also shift their luck to be good or bad.
You can also mess with objects—make them broken, clean, or dirty.
At the top level, you can enchant or age up other Sims. Unfortunately, you can’t age up elders—the game won’t let you kill other Sims.
The Customization Path
This path lets you pick one option from each side in every tier. Think of it as a more customizable fairy skill tree that you can adapt to your liking and playing style.
The fairy skill tree isn’t locked behind the new fairy aspiration, which is nice. You can mix and match however you want.
Doing fairy activities earns fairy experience, which helps level up your fairy.
And yes, there are two new aspirations in this pack, and one is all about becoming a fairy.
