The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle: How to get fuel

The-Sims-4-Eco-Lifestyle-get-fuel

To get fuel in the Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle, you need to build an insect farm on your lot. Place 5 bug houses on your lot and fill them with bugs. You can collect Biofuel every 24 hours.

Make sure to feed and nurture your bugs every day. If you forget to do that, their health will decline and you won’t be able to collect Biofuel.

You can only collect fuel when your bugs are fine. Do your best to help them thrive. Thriving bugs will also give you a box of Super Fertilizer every time you collect Biofuel, beetle nuggets, or cricket flour.

If you want to make your neighborhood green, you should keep a few bug boxes on your lot. You can upgrade your household appliances to use Biofuel to top up their power.

If you don’t like the idea of having a bug farm on your lot, you can top up your appliances using consumables. You can use two Bits and Pieces instead of a can of biofuel.

Don’t use fuel if you want to get a good eco-footprint

Using fuel of any kind (biofuel or consumables) will push the needle toward an industrial eco-footprint. The source of fuel doesn’t matter. You’re still burning fuel and that creates pollution.

If you want to get a good eco footprint, don’t use biofuel. Instead, use solar panels, dew collectors, and wind turbines.

Make sure to upgrade your household appliances and add the Efficiency option to all of them.

Well, if you don’t really care about your eco-footprint but still want to live off-the-grid, you can install a power generator on your lot and use Biofuel or Bits and Pieces to run it.

Happy Simming!
