If your dog won’t stop vomiting in The Sims 4, have a vet examine it. If the dog keeps vomiting, have the vet examine it again. Give your pet a Wellness treat to cure the disease.
If the issue persists, travel to a different lot, spend 10-15 seconds there, and go back.
If going to the vet is not an option for you, either because you don’t have the time or hate seeing your dog sick, you can buy Wellness treats from the vet’s vending machine or get them from Debug.
Have the dog eat the Wellness treat and they should stop throwing up instantly.
Buy a few extra Wellness treats and keep them in your inventory in case your pet gets sick again. Pets get sick way too often in the game.
Having a couple of Wellness treats in your inventory will come in handy.
For example, if you meet a stray dog that’s vomiting, you can ask what’s wrong and give it a Wellness treat from your inventory.
By the way, if your Sim has reached Level 5 in the Vet skill, they can make Wellness treats themselves and feed them to sick animals to cure them.
How to quickly clean up barf in The Sims 4
Cleaning the barf after your dog is a time-consuming task, especially if the vomiting doesn’t stop.
If you’re playing on a PC, you can use cheats to quickly solve the problem. Press Ctrl, Shift, and C, and type in testingcheats true. Press Enter to enable cheat codes.
Pause the game, press Shift and click on the barf, and select Destroy Object. Use this method to instantly clean up vomit.
You can also use the Reset option (Debug) to cure your dog and stop the vomiting.
