Changing an infant’s diaper can sometimes be a messy business.
Diaper changing tables provide a dedicated and safe space to get this job done.
By elevating the baby to a comfortable height, elder Sims can avoid bending over which can be difficult and uncomfortable at their age.
Overall, the changing table makes the diaper-changing process more comfortable for both infants and caregivers.
To use the changing table, click on it and select the Change Diaper option.
Infants may sometimes pee on their caregiver while getting their diaper changes. This automatically locks the Pee on Caregiver milestone.
I guess peeing on the caregiver marks an important enough event in your infant’s life to add it to their milestone list.
Adult Sims with a high enough Handiness skill can upgrade the changing table.
Use the diaper trash can
There’s also a diaper trash can that you can attach to the changing table.
When you change your infant’s diaper, it automatically gets put in there.
In this manner, you don’t have to worry about diaper trash.
If you don’t use a diaper trash can, you’ll find used diapers scattered around the house.
You’ve been warned. That’s not a nice sight.
You’ll have to clean away the dirty diapers eventually.
If you fail to do that, the Filthy Surroundings moodlet will show up on the screen and your Sims will feel Uncomfortable.

Potty-trained toddlers no longer need the changing table. If all the toddlers in your household have been successfully potty-trained, you can sell the diaper changing table.
