To enjoy a better gaming experience when playing The Sims 4 on a console, connect a keyboard and mouse to your device. You can play the same way you play on a computer.

How to open the Sims 4 cheat console on Xbox
- Press the left and right triggers and bumpers simultaneously
- Then type in testingcheats true
- Press A
- Type in the cheat you want to use
- Press A again
Additional Xbox controls for Sims 4
Show cheat options when clicking on Sims or objects: Press and hold B, then press A while holding B. This is the equivalent of Shift and Click on PC.
Rotate objects to any angle while having an object selected: Press LB/RB and then use the right stick to rotate the object.
Rotate floor tile: Press Y while using the single floor tile tool.
Toggle full room and one wall when painting: Press either one of the bumpers when using the painting tool.
Change object size while having an object selected: Press both triggers and left/right.
Change object elevation after enabling the “bb.moveobjects on” cheat: Hold both triggers, and then press up/down.

The Sims 4 for console is a completely separate version of the game. You can’t transfer your progress on a PC or Mac.
Additionally, many game features such as mod support and live events are not available on the console version of The Sims 4.
