In this guide, I’ll show you some quick and easy steps to clean up your Sim and their house after a fire. Say goodbye to soot and hello to a fresh, clean Sim ready to take on the world again.

How to Clean Your Sim After a Fire in The Sims 4

The quickest way to clean your Sim after a fire is to head over to a bathroom and have your Sim take a shower or a bath. Simply click on the shower or bathtub and choose Take a Shower or Take a Bath to clean off the soot and grime.

Your Sim will be fresh and clean in no time.

Remember to keep an eye on potential fire hazards and practice safety to avoid future mishaps.

If your Sim is still burnt and dirty, and taking a shower doesn’t work for cleaning them, try saving your game and then launching it again.

Alternatively, you can have them travel to a different lot, like a park, gym, or museum, and then return home.

This action can reset certain Sims or fix glitched lots that may be causing issues.

If they’re still burnt, use the Reset option.

How to Clean Burn Marks After a Fire in The Sims 4

To remove burnt marks on the floor after a fire, place new flooring over the affected area. This will allow your Sim to clean the floor.

Please note that only Sims with the Neat trait can clean the floor in this manner. They can do the Frenzy Clean.

You can also use cheats to delete burnt floor tiles. Use the testingcheats on command to enable cheats. Then, hold down Ctrl and Shift and right-click the burn with the mouse. Select the option that allows you to delete the object.

What to Do When There’s a Fire in The Sims 4

If there’s still a fire going on, make sure to put it out as quickly as possible. Click on the fire and select Extinguish to have a Sim take care of it.

Then, clean your Sim and assess the damage caused by the fire. Check for any damaged objects or furniture, and repair or replace them as needed.

Happy Simming!
