Neighbors will often complain out of nothing about noises that your Sims aren’t actually making.
Sometimes, they won’t even knock on the door, they simply barge in and start complaining.
These annoying neighbors can ruin your Sim’s day.

How can I prevent neighbors from barging in The Sims 4?
The best way to prevent neighbors from barging in is to befriend them. Use friendly and funny interactions and build up your friendship with them. They’re less likely to barge in with complaints when you’re friends with them.
However, when they do come back and complain again, you’ll lose a lot of friendships.
You can also kick uninvited neighbors out by traveling to another lot.
Alternatively, you can move into an apartment without neighbors.
You can also navigate to Manage Worlds and evict the neighbors from their apartments.
Or you can simply ignore them when they pound on your door.
If your neighbors enter your apartment uninvited, lock the door to everyone but household members. Don’t forget to disable this option when you invite friends over.
Keep in mind that Sims with the Goofball trait can let themselves in whenever they like. They’ll also pull all sorts of pranks and are the absolute worst neighbors.
Getting them to leave your house is not always easy.
