If you own City Living, you may have already noticed there’s a chalk body outline in the 1313 21 Chic Street apartment. If you spend enough time in the apartment, a strange smell will invade the entire area.
The body outline leaks green fumes making your Sim uncomfortable.
This seems to indicate the chalk body outline is a piece of criminal activity evidence.
Could it be that the apartment was originally the scene of a crime?
The place is also suspiciously cheap. You can rent it for only 300 Simoleons. It’s almost like the landlord can’t give it away.
If a murder took place in the apartment, no wonder rent is so cheap.
A ghost will also appear in the apartment from time to time. But if you check the lot type, you’ll notice the apartment doesn’t have the Haunted trait.
That only adds to the mystery…
How to get rid of the dead body outline in The Sims 4?
You cannot remove the chalk body outline from the 1313 21 Chic Street apartment in The Sims 4 City Living. It’s a part of the design of the apartment. Cheats such as BB. MoveObjects don’t work.
The quickest way to “get rid” of the dead body outline in The Sims 4 is to simply place a rug over it. You can also make a layout using platforms to get rid of the outline.
These two workarounds will only hide the chalk outline, you can’t permanently remove it from the apartment.
What happened in the 1313 21 Chic Street apartment?
Nobody knows what really happened in the 1313 21 Chic Street apartment. While the chalk body outline might be evidence of a murder, EA has never officially confirmed this idea.
Maybe the kids who lived there before your Sim moved in decided to have some fun with a white marker and drew a body outline on the floor.
Maybe they simply wanted to play a prank before moving out.
