Hey Simmers! Got a furry friend in The Sims 4 and wondering if they’re neutered? I’ve got you covered! In this quick guide, I’ll show you how to check if your pet is neutered.
How Do I Know if My Pet Is Neutered?
To check if your pet is neutered in The Sims 4, go into CAS and check your pet’s details. You can enter CAS by selecting “Edit in CAS” from the Manage Households screen.
Alternatively, check if you can encourage your pets to breed.
If they have the option to mate, it means they haven’t undergone the spaying or neutering procedure.
Most dogs adopted in the game are already spayed by default. If you’ve adopted a dog from the game’s adoption system, it’s likely they have already been neutered or spayed.
When you create a pet in Create-a-Pet, you can select whether or not they can reproduce.
Click on the ellipses under the pet’s gender and select Natural if you want them to mate and breed. Select the Fixed option if you don’t want them to have offspring.
Can I Unneuter My Dog in The Sims 4?
To unneuter your dog in The Sims 4, go to the vet clinic, click on the sign-in machine, and select the option labeled Un-spay/Unneuter.
Kittens and puppies cannot be unspayed or unneutered at the vet. To unneuter them, you’ll have to wait until they reach adulthood.
Happy Simming!
