You can customize your Sim’s work schedule and work hours with the help of the “5 Day Work Week” mod by Jane Simsten.
Click on the Phone and select Ask to choose work schedule. A series of notifications will pop up on the screen. Select the options you want to use.
You can select the time of the day you want your Sim to work, as well as shift hours, and work days.
This mod works only with active careers. Gig-based careers such as the Dream Home Decorator career are incompatible with this mod.
If the mod doesn’t trigger any work-related notifications, cancel all the queueing actions. Your Sim may sometimes get too busy doing other activities and forget you asked them to customize their work schedule.
If you want to go back to your regular work schedule, click on the Phone, and select Return to company default hours. Using this option will reset the work hours for all your careers.
By the way, if your Sim is a workaholic, you can have them work overtime. They won’t complain at all.
How to install the “5 Day Work Week” mod
To install this mod, download the mod package and script files from ModTheSims and move them to your Mods folder.
Jane Simsten’s “5 Day Work Week” mod is compatible with TurboDriver’s multiple career mod.
As Jane explains, if you want your Sim to work as a doctor and diagnose patients during the day, and then pursue a criminal career by night, you can use this mod to ensure work hours don’t conflict.
It is worth mentioning that his mod is affected by a minor bug where Sims get home from work but there’s no “Home from Work” notification.
Equally important, don’t forget to update your mods to the latest version whenever a new Sims 4 game version is released. The latest Sims 4 updates often break mods causing all sorts of unexpected glitches and errors.
Make sure to keep your game and mods up-to-date.
