The Sims franchise recently celebrated the 20 year anniversary by offering a free hot tub gift to all the gamers. Unfortunately, many players can’t enjoy the gift as they have yet to receive the hot tub.
If you’re in the same situation, here’s what you can do to get your hands on your free hot tub gift in The Sims 4.
The birthday tub is not available in the Sims 4
Fix 1: Install the latest game updates
Make sure you’ve downloaded and installed the latest updates for The Sims 4. If your game base is not updated, the latest feature may not be available for you. Keep in mind that you don’t need to purchase anything. The birthday hot tub gift is offered to absolutely all The Sims 4 players.
Fix 2: Repair your game
If you installed the latest game updates, yet the hot tub us nowhere to be seen, you need to repair your game. You can quickly do that by going to your game library. Next, select The Sims 4 in your game library. Right-click on the game and select Repair.
Hot tub not coming to the Legacy Edition
It is worth mentioning that the birthday hot tub is not coming to the Legacy Edition. So, if you’re running this version of the game, there is no point in looking everywhere for the tub. It’s simply not supported on your game version. This is because this version no longer receives updates.
