Sims can bring their babies, toddlers, and kids on vacation with them in The Sims 4.
If your Sim goes on vacation or leaves the house for any reason, babies and toddlers are automatically sent to daycare. Rest assured, Social Services won’t take them if you’re away for a few hours or days.
If any teen or adult is at home, they will take care of the toddlers.
Of course, if you want to be sure your kids’ needs are properly taken care of, you can hire a nanny.
If you’re hiking or planning to spend some time outdoors, keep in mind that toddlers can sleep in tents.
If your Sims prefer comfort over adventure, send your family to a vacation home and bring some toddler items with you. Add toddler furniture and lots of toys to your vacation lot to ensure toddlers have everything they need.
Alternatively, you can use the bb.enablefreebuild cheat and then add whatever toddler items you’re missing.
If you don’t want to ruin your Sims’ vacation, don’t bring more than two toddlers or two kids. You want your Sims to be able to relax.
I personally don’t take toddlers and kids on vacation. I like to give my Sims a break from their parenthood duties from time to time.
How about you? Do you send babies and kids on vacation with their parents? Let me know in the comments below.
Happy Simming!
